Will perform sample testing & lab work, & execute chemical treatment required to meet discharge limitation. Will load & unload bulk & containerized materials using light equipment. Will operate chemical process equipment, filter presses & filtration systems. Performs daily inspections of facility & storage tanks. Will process inbound/outbound paperwork, including customer manifests. Will operate equipment to empty oil drums & transfer solids & fluids to storage tanks; manages solids & chemical treated fluids in storage facility. Performs general housekeeping, including cleaning tankers & maintenance of equipment & site. Performs other related duties as assigned. Please note: Workdays are Monday thru Friday with the occasional Saturday, 1st & 2nd shift rotating. May be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; exposed to extreme heat, cold, wind & dust conditions; risk of electrical shock; risk of radiation & vibration. The noise level is usually very loud. Attractive wages. Qualifications: Must have a HS diploma/equivalent (some related technical education or experience to have basic knowledge of chemical or operation practices & procedures) w/ a valid driver s license. Must be able to do medium lifting up to 50 lbs. consistently. Must be willing to work occasional mandatory overtime. Must have the ability to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance & procedure instructions & procedures; must have the ability to keep logs & records, create simple correspondence & comprehend simple instructions. Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide using whole numbers, fractions & decimals. Troubleshoots basic problems & identifies deviations from accepted practices.
