Will perform general, preventive & emergency maintenance; scheduling & planning skills in order to perform multiple projects. Will effectively support the control & management of all maintenance operational expenses including labor, overtime, supplies, etc, seek & suggest cost-saving strategies. Will work closely with the General Manager to ensure hotel meets and/or exceeds brand standards for guest satisfaction in regards to repairs to repairs, maintenance & installations. Will politely greet & acknowledge all guest & team members. Please Note: This is a part-time position (24-30 hours per week) which will include weekends (both Saturday & Sunday). This position is physical in nature & requires complete physical mobility, including (but not limited to) bending, carrying climbing stairs, crawling, reaching & squatting. Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal & team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive & professional environment & adhere to all policies & procedures. Qualifications: Must have a HS diploma/equivalent. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. of supplies & push/pull up to 40 lbs. of supplies.. Must be able to work varying shifts & rime schedules as needed (days, nights, weekends, & holidays). Must have good general knowledge of plumbing, electricity, HVAC & carpentry as well as tools used therein. Must be proficient in facilities management & preventative maintenance service principles. Must be customer-service orientated & attendance is crucial to the position.
