Please include the job order #, the job title & either the S# or T# in the subject line. Job Duties: Will be responsible for painting vehicles due to body damage from collisions or accidents. Will follow supervisors instructions as to which parts to restore or replace & how much time the job should take. Will select paint according to company requirements, & match colors of paint following specified color charts. Will mix paints to match color specifications or vehicles original colors. Will remove grease, dirt, paint or rust from surfaces in preparation for paint application, using abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks or sandblasters. Will monitor painting operations to identify flaws, such as blisters or streaks & correct their causes. Will sand vehicle surfaces between coats of paint or primer to remove flaws & enhance adhesion for subsequent coats. Will disassemble, clean & reassemble sprayers & power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes & cloths for cleaning duties. Will spray prepared surfaces with specified amounts of primers & decorative or finish coatings. Will remove accessories from vehicles, such as chrome or mirrors & mask other surfaces with tape or paper in order to protect them from paint. Will dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner. Various other duties as needed. Please Note: This is a full-time position. Typical hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5 pm. Wages will be based on experience, skills & abilities. Paid holidays & vacation after 1 year. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, with a HS diploma/vocational training or equivalent, w/ a minimum of 1 year experience in auto body painting. Must possess a valid driver s license. Will be required to have a basic knowledge of detailing of vehicles/trucks & have a keen eye for details & quality results of prepping the vehicle/truck. Must be physically able to do medium lifting up to 50 lbs. Successful candidate must be loyal & hard-working. Staff Contact: RC1
