The RSS provides daily living supports defined by the Individual Service Plan. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Maintains a therapeutic relationship with the clients Maintains order, cleanliness, & safety of the physical environment in the home Completes all required documentation for treatment data & service provision Conducts all job-related activities in compliance with relevant Ohio statutes, clinic policies & procedures, & applicable accreditation standards Initiates & maintains positive relationships with clients, co-workers & supervisor ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Understands special needs of clients with disabilities Agency Policy and Procedures Behavior Support Plans Individual Service Plans Documentation and Data Collection The RSS is required to have the skill in: Written and oral communication Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with clients and staff Problem solving Applying crisis intervention techniques and maintaining personal safety Stress management Safe driving with a good driving record Time management Working effectively under the direction of others Qualifications: 1. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds Must be able to implement P.B.S.C.I. procedures 2.
