Job Duties: The Technician is responsible for breaking up various types of deposits, which routinely build-up in the manufacturing processes of our customers, by using water blasting equipment. In addition, the Tech is responsible for the removal of those deposits through the use of high-suction industrial vacuum hoses, as well as manual shoveling. Technicians also perform other types of industrial cleaning as well. Setting up and tearing down equipment and supplies needed on job sites. Use equipment such as water blast guns, lances, vacuum hoses (4 -8 ), and shovels. Ensure that work is performed and production equipment is operated in a safe productive manner. Provide the highest level of professionalism towards customers and co-workers. Assure that safety & productivity requirements are met. Promote Safety as the number one priority, and Quality as the number two priority on the job. Assist in the pre-job loading of necessary supplies and equipment. Inspects work areas prior to the job starting, and participates with the rest of the crew in the entire setup of the job. Attend "Toolbox Safety Meetings" with entire crew prior to job start, including JSA review. Utilizes all required equipment during the job in a safe and efficient manner; handles minor, routine maintenance issues on equipment as needed. Accepts job assignment rotations at the jobsite and assists in cross-training of operators on proper operation of water blasting equipment. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and at least 21 years old. Able to climb, work in extreme heat, ability to pull/push equipment as needed, extensive walking, work mandatory overtime, and do repetitive movements. Company will train , will pay for certifications if needed, and will provide On-the-Job Training. Company insurance must be willing to insure you as driver of company service trucks.
