Job Duties: Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services under the direction and supervision of the therapist. This includes range and motions exercises, and assistance in ambulation or exercises. Perform personal care activities including but not limited to: Bathing, Shampooing, Skin Care/ Nail Care, Oral Hygiene, Shaving, and dressing. Perform household services essential to health care at home, including but not limited to: Meal Preparation/ Feeding, Laundry, and Light Housekeeping. Assist the patient in taking medications under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Knows and follow infection policies including proper hand washing techniques. Report any observed or reported changes in client s conditions. Documents care provided and completes the forms required for the client s records. Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients by observing infection control policies following agency guidelines. Demonstrate safe practice in the use of equipment. Treat patients and family with respect. Accepts and fulfills assignments with the agency. Participate in required in-service programs to meet compliance and agency requirements. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Capable of lifting up to 100#LBS. Must be 18 years of age. 12 months experience in Home Healthcare preferred. Both full-time and part-time positions will be available.
