Job Duties: Incorporate Safety responsibilities into daily action. Review customer drawings for inaccuracies and notify the lead designer. Prepare a list of inaccuracies and send a scanned file of all pertaining documents in question to the customer for resolution. Set up projects in the various programs used to generate shop drawings (AutoCad, SolidWorks, Acorn, Excel etc.). Generate drawing files from customer supplied per pcf or idf files. Create detailed drawings and or loose material lists (if Required) by verifying customer specifications, weld procedures, customer provided dimensions/ elevations, weights etc in accordance with code standards. Generate bills of materials, non-destructive examination and post-weld heat treat requirements for each Shop Fabrication Spool, and/or detail drawing. Create a master pipe cut sheet for each project. Create 3d Models of any drawing that may be difficult to interpret from a 2D or isometric drawing. Verify drawing, master cut sheets and/or loose material equations, and prior experi3ence before submitting finalized drawings to customer and production. Forward corrected drawings to customer for final approval. Uphold ZSPSI S mission and values. Qualifications: Associate Degree in Engineering or Computer Drafting. Two to four years of AutoCad experience is preferred. 3D modeling experience preferred. Need 1-3 years in related industry. Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and the widows OS environment is required. Typing and data entry experience is required. Good Math skills are required (fraction/decimal; conversions, English/ metric conversions, algebra, and trigonometry. Good communication skills required. Strong understanding of isometric drawings. Must be able to visualize 3D drawing components from 2D drawings. Good Interpersonal skills and teamwork are required. Knowledge of AutoCad, SolidWorks, and Acorn software is preferred. Attention to detail is important. Knowledge of shop functions and process ( pipe fabrication process) as well as welding procedures and Quality Control requirements is helpful.
