About the job:
procurement of blood samples via venous and capillary techniques, from patients ranging in age from infant to geriatric. Utilizes use of the Laboratory Information System for activating, ordering, and resulting laboratory orders from providers and to result laboratory tests. Educates patients in the proper collection of specimens such as urine, stool and sputum.
