Desired Skills/Duties: JOB DESCRIPTION FOR WAREHOUSEMAN: Operate walkie-rider, stand-up reach, stand-up counter-balanced, and stock-picker lift trucks safely Complete Daily Operator s Checklist for each lift truck used each shift Complete inbound and outbound trailer inspections Unload and load trailers and straight trucks Visually inspect all goods presented by carriers for delivery to ensure only materials in sound packaging, good condition, and suitable for receipt and storage are accepted Notify management of any goods, materials, delivery vehicles, or pickup vehicles that have any signs of pest activity, contamination, damage, odors, or suspicious articles Notify management of any suspicious activity Inspect all finished goods prior to loading for shipment to ensure all pallets and packaging are in excellent condition suitable for shipment Notify management of all materials, finished goods, and WIP that are found to be in deficient condition Complete all receiving and shipping documents accurately and completely Use RF guns to accurately scan inventory to receive materials against PO s, to update inventory locations, to scan verify orders as picked, and to perform other inventory transactions Inspect pallets according to the acceptable pallet standard and supply acceptable wood pallets to staging areas to be delivered to production employees by Data Capture Palletizers Load all rejected, substandard pallets into the scrap pallet trailer for removal from the plant Deliver WIP to production lines for further production work Move pallets of finished goods that have been stretch-wrapped and inventoried by the Data Capture Palletizers into the freezer and both document the inventory move and RF scan the location update Cover all inbound materials with plastic and stretch-wrap as needed and per SOP or to maintain product integrity Accurately use the time clock to record time worked, at break, and at meals Maintain docks, freezer, equipment, and storage zones in clean order with general housekeeping, sweeping, rinsing, squeegee, and light scrubbing Light painting and maintenance to maintain appearance and functionality of equipment, concrete curbing, racks, and signage Communicate with WH leads and supervision as needed Lift up to 80 lbs. on occasion Other assigned duties (Backup to this position is other Warehousemen, WH Leads, and WH Supervision) Qualifications Honesty Basic math skills Ability to work weekends Ability to work in cold conditions of approximately -5 degrees F up to 40 degrees F Basic communications skills- bilingual a plus Hard working and responsible Organized Attention to detail Good attendance
