Desired Skills/Duties: Press Brake Operator PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Operator capable of performing skilled work in setting up and operating press brakes. Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings or fabrication prints as needed for accurate and safe brake operation. Must understand and calculate bend deduction allowances. Inspect parts using common tools such as calipers, height gauges, protractors, etc. Applicant must be able to follows work order directions and safely produces required quantity of parts efficiently and within the required tolerance and cosmetic quality Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry 75 pounds. Perform all duties in a safe manner. Must follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able operate forklifts and OH crane. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school education or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years in the press brake setup and operation. BASIC SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Diverse experience in machine controls. Ability to read blue prints and schematics. Must be a self-starter and self-directed. Must be able to work in a fast past environment. Attention to detail. Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed.
