Desired Skills/Duties: PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assembles kits and maintains part support for production. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assembles kits for manufacturing area by following manufacturing specifications and pulling and assembling needed items from stock merchandise. Stocks incoming materials in appropriately designated receptacles. Conducts cycle counting on a daily basis to ensure inventory accuracy. Handles all inventory move tickets for the production area. Maintains a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety rules and 5S regulations. Enters inventory-based transactions into accounting software. Establishes and maintains positive work relationships with the production group. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have above average typing skills. Must have basic Microsoft Office Suite skills. Must be proficient in inventory and cycle count procedures. Must have ability to work independently and with a high level of attention to detail. Must be able to do basic arithmetic calculations (addition, subtraction, fractions, multiplication, and division). Ability to adapt to changing priorities a must. Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) Two plus years of stockroom or inventory-related experience required. Ability to type at least 40 wpm with minimal errors. Basic computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office products required. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, and extreme heat. Moderate noise level in the office area. Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment when in restricted manufacturing areas. WORK SCHEDULES: Normal work hours are 7 am- 4 pm (8 hours) Normal workdays are Monday through Friday. Lunch period is sixty minutes per day, unpaid.
