Desired Skills/Duties: SUMMARY OF PURPOSE The right person will be passionate about food and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Server in a bustling, fast-paced restaurant setting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Prepare room for dining by checking tables and preparing menus, condiments, napkins, service plates and utensils Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc. Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs Properly open and pour wine at the tableside Cash Handling Use of POS System Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS At least 21 years of age and previous customer service experience is necessary. Open Availability and Reliable form of transportation. Excellent communication skills. Ability to make sound judgment calls. Knowledge of and preparation of food to include the effective presentation and delivery to the customers. TIPS certifications required. Candidate must be able to maintain professional demeanor in high stress/volume environments. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow team members and guests. Skally s is a drug free workplace.
