Desired Skills/Duties: Job Description Summary: Performs a variety of complex administrative tasks involving some discretion and requiring moderate amounts of independent judgment related to the oversight of the daily operations of a University administrative unit. Duties/Physical Demands: Provides administrative support for two Associate Vice President of Development positions and several positions among other senior development staff members. Schedules appointments for on and off campus meetings and visits; assists with greeting prospects for on-campus meetings. Assists with procedures, projects and events as needed. Responsible for various financial and budgetary tasks, including preparation, reconciliation and monitoring of budgets. Prepares fiscal reports based on the Monthly Financial Report generated by General Accounting. Responsible for transactions in Buyway, the university's contract and purchasing system. Makes travel arrangements and manages travel documentation for multiple staff, including expense reports and monthly credit card reconciliation. Provides phone support for other areas as requested. Prepares variety of written materials including correspondence, information sheets and procedures. Monitors and reviews operations of unit; ensures smooth workflow; ensures work product meets professional standards. Serves as informational resource to staff; investigates and resolves problems or difficulties related to areas of expertise. Assists University staff, faculty, and students; answers inquiries and provides information. Works some evening and weekend special events. Oversees staff; assists in the enforcement of policies and procedures; establishes schedules and reviews performance. Gathers statistical information regarding department's programs and activities? produces reports Performs other administrative duties as assigned. At times requires extended periods of time working on a computer.
