Desired Skills/Duties: Part-time To provide Vocational and Life Skills instruction to young men and women with behavioral or physical disabilities that have graduated high school Job responsibilities: provide direct instruction to young adults with disabilities in school and community settings function as part of coordinated individualized education plan developed by intervention specialist, and collaborate closely with the school district staff and employers complete high quality service documentation provide transportation in school district vehicles knowledge and enthusiasm about provision of non-traditional, community based services. ability to build and maintain positive alliances with professional and non-professional providers of support services for young adults. ability to skillfully collaborate with professionals responsible for funding and planning services. personal values consistent with the agency's core values and philosophy of service: prevention/healing/wellbeing Part-time: 5 hours daily, a school day schedule, Occasional evening hours may be required. Required education: High school diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Preferred experience: 1 year experience in a vocational, educational, health care or residential setting with people with disabilities.
