Desired Skills/Duties: This employee is responsible for maintaining and preforming accurate inventory audits and assisting the Inventory Control Manager as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Work with operations department to audit operational procedures for activities such as verification of inbound and outbound shipments, handle and disposition of materials, and keep warehouse inventory current through cycle counts. Responsible for planning and executing daily audits performed by operations. Create and maintaining accurate records of all audits. o Post Production Audits o Finished Goods o Components o Outbound Audits Assist with the Hold and Release program. Review and record all orders after order picking is completed. Investigate and report any audits and discrepancies to the Inventory Control Manager daily. Work with other departments to achieve shared goals. o*Cycle Counting o*Director of Inventory will cover when absent. Qualifications Basic computer skills. Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Operate inventory and production tracking software. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
