Desired Skills/Duties: Position Summary: TACG is looking for a subject matter expert (SME) to support the Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability of Pods (RAMPOD) program management office (PMO). This SME will provide unique, in-depth functional knowledge on the application and system operations. The SME will provide RAMPOD functional knowledge and expertise to the RAMPOD PMO to oversee the sustainment of the operational system and ensure application system changes are incorporated properly. RAMPOD supports the collection of maintenance and inventory data for all USAF pods and some support equipment and specialized avionics. RAMPOD is the USAF system of record (designated as DSD - G100) for pod data collection and tracking as documented in Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-103, Equipment Inventory, Status, and Utilization Reporting. It is also a financial feeder system to Defense Financial Accounting System (DFAS) supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) financial accountability compliance legislation. Responsibilities: Translating user requirements for input into system specifications, data management plans, configuration management plans, life cycle management documentation, integrated logistics support plans and related operational summaries. Gathering information from users, defining work problems, and designing a system and procedures to resolve problems. Working with customer and development/sustainment contractors on the design, development, analysis, test, and maintenance of software and logical and physical databases in order to meet functional requirements. Providing input to specifications and/or user documentation for client or user personnel. Conducting enterprise-wide strategic systems planning, business information planning, and business analysis with the PMO. Providing input into functional, process, and data modeling in support of planning and analysis efforts. Examining and analyzing current and contemplated operations for developing, defining, and coordinating user requirements to satisfy the total program need. Act as a member of the Integrated Test Team (ITT) and test system releases, COTS upgrades, and any patches to the system. Utilizing data design, proposed system revisions, and test results to ensure functional requirements are met, to include Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR), Federal Information System Control Audit Manual (FISCAM), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and Blue Book modification and modernization efforts, as applicable to each system. Researching, analyzing, and providing system functional system specific data to assist the PMO with Requests for Information (RFIs). Reviewing developer s proposals to ensure correctness, consistency, completeness, and compliance with requirements. Schedule program meetings and invite attendees. Communicate with functional users at the ALCs, Nuclear Weapons-Related Materiel (NWRM), and Crypto.
