Desired Skills/Duties: Position Summary: TACG is looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst to support the customer by defining current and future state business processes to support the business in defining information/data requirements to allow for the design, development, testing/evaluation, implementation and sustainment of critical business applications and IT capabilities. Analysts use detailed knowledge of Industry and Governmental best practices with regard to logistics capabilities to identify critical process flows and the data associated with each. The business analyst assists in continuous improvement initiatives for processes, policies and procedures through statistical analysis. They must have knowledge of process mapping, business process reengineering and have the ability to take business processes and requirements and convert them into clear, organized documentation from a user standpoint that is easy for development to understand. Responsibilities: Reviews and analyzes existing models, documentation, enterprise architecture artifacts and other program information related to data Applies knowledge of commercial Supply Chain Management and supporting capabilities (e.g., item and product information) while participating in Subject Matter Expert (SME) interviews and workshops to elicit process-related information associated with current ( As-Is ) business processes. Identifies gaps with current processes and updates process flows to the To-Be business processes Demonstrated experience with process mapping, business process reengineering and must have the ability to take business processes and requirements and convert them into clear, organized documentation from a user standpoint that is easy for development to understand Identifies and defines Trading Partner data exchanges/interfaces. Identify compliance issues and bridge the gap between core Government Legacy systems and the To-Be future state IT solutions. Identify and elicit information from the Subject Matter Experts (SME) and use the information to assist in the development of use cases for selection, design, and testing of the IT solutions Able to see the big (enterprise) picture, understand project objectives and be able to apply their understanding of how processes relate to operational improvements Able to work in an agile environment Education & Certification Requirements: Four-year degree in Business Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field.
