SUMMARY The National Account Executive position is responsible for initiating contact with existing and potential customers, identify their needs and sell appropriate services to meet those needs. Reporting to the Transportation Director the National Account Executive will be charged with creating rapid growth in the targeted market sectors through developing new business with new clients and existing clients. The National Account Executive is also responsible for acting as the liaison between the client, carrier, shipper and receiver, developing solid relationships with all parties by providing world class customer service, and insuring that any issues which might arise are quickly and professionally resolved between the parties. This position requires above average time management skills, an outgoing personality, and an aggressive desire with the spirit of an entrepreneur. Success in this role is defined by annual revenue and customer retention. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  Meet quarterly and annual sales goals for the role  Work to prospect and bring in new customers  Customer communication (Transportation group phone support) accept customer orders verbally on the phone, via email or fax  Follow all policies and procedures necessary to do the job properly.  Communicate with customers as required to ensure customer satisfaction.  Problem order management/resolutions - major load issues must be communicated to the customer and Brokerage Manager  Work hours required and be available as needed to meet customer demands.  Able to think analytically and strategically with a process and systems orientation  Able to work as a team player  Maintains High integrity - honors commitments and the Values of LeSaint  Organizational understanding (of client)  Willingness and ability to share knowledge with others  Willingness to travel as needed (minimal percent of time) SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
