performing traffic studies including traffic counts and turning movement counts. With nearly 345 miles of roadway lanes; 3,800 streetlights and traffic signals; 525 miles of water, sewer and stormwater lines; 250 acres of maintained parks and facilities; 125,000 square feet of occupied buildings; a fleet of 240 vehicles; and numerous volunteer programs, Public Works is the largest and most diverse department within Lacey's municipal organization.
